How would the modern day Democratic Socialist handle the Kulaks? Seems they really believe that those who create value would continue to work harder for less.

I found Anthem to be a concise allegory. Sanders panders; typical demagogue--as we find in Hussein Alinsky Marxist-Muslim Sham Wow Priest.

Being Godless sure does put one in the dark.

Satan loves chaos!

The EU is a little ahead of us on that track. But we (as a nation) are also as evidenced by Americans losing religion and moving into the shadows.

Watch the chaos in the EU!

Count the number of the invocations of the word "would" in the story and you'll see just how much the entire socialist fabric is built on speculation. Match that speculation against the real-world performances of socialist governments and you'll have a brief overview of 20th-century tragic history.

Socialism flourishes only when the socialist is insulated against the real-world consequences. It has been roughly a generation since the fall of the Soviet Union, and the new generation is gobbling up the same old lies because it doesn't have much in the way of counter-example. Venezuela is one such and proves very difficult to explain away; North Korea and Cuba are simply ignored.

Typical "zero-sum" thinking. What one has must have been taken from another. In reality, Bill Gates' wealth hasn't deprived me of anything. So far as I'm concerned, in buying Microsoft products, I've received value for value.
