Cruz seems to be surging in several recent polls. I would be thrilled if he actually wins the nomination.

Carson openly supports amnesty and does not have experience as an executive or a negotiator.

They like Carson because he’s clean, articulate, mainstream, a real storybook candidate.

Most of them don’t want to admit they support him because 2 or 3 questions in and they have to admit it’s mainly because he’s black, which they know in the back of their mind makes them sound stupid.

Because we just had two new IA polls out showing Carson falling behind again.

No we didn't. We had one Iowa robo-call poll showing Trump in the lead, and one poll showing Trump one point ahead. But both of those polls always had Trump in the lead, so they don't show Trump "regaining the lead". The automated poll shows a 2 point increase in Trump's lead from their last poll, while the PPP poll shows 6 point loss in Trump's lead from their last poll. And both of the polls show a significant increase in support for Carson from their last polls.

This is a pre-debate poll.

Me: Funny how Carson is losing big in NC, NH, FL, SC, MA, and again losing in Iowa in the latest polls, but somehow WSJ/NBC can find Carson winning by 6 pts nationally? Uh no.

I forgot to add Carson is also losing in the latest states of GA, NV, and VA to the list above.

No loser Murdock and losers at PMSLSDNBC Carson is losing big and way behind Trump.

Only about 88 days when the primary/caucasus start where you guys get it stuck up your behinds. Heh.

I was the geek/know-it-all you all hated in college (see, I even corrected your spelling).

I’m for Cruz all the way.

Trump has a new book. Cruz has a recent book. They all seem to have books. That seems to be the fallback plan if they lose.

So why the racist terminology in the ‘keywords?’ That’s completely uncalled for concerning Carson, who’s a good man and deserves better from FR posters.

One problem for Cruz is the debate had little more than half the viewership of the previous two. In the last one, he barely got called on at all, especially in the first half. This debate let Cruz get out from under the media blackout, which is the only thing that’s really keeping him from breaking out. People don’t know who he is.

As slow as he talks, if he did win, his administration would be over by the time he finished mumbling his acceptance speech.

And he gets four hours of sleep every hour.

I have yet to meet a single Carson supporter.

You need to go to church!

No, I don't mean it that way LOL. There are a large number of people I am with on Facebook, most of them are evangelical churchgoers (like me). Now, I'm a Trumpster; but large numbers of my fellow-believers think Carson is the right guy. They don't understand about 7th-Day Adventism, nor do they seem to notice his weaknesses. They just think he is so pure on issues important to Christians.

I don't think he is pure at all; but there you have it. Some believers have this pipe dream that we can elect someone based on what Carson seems to represent -- soft-spoken-ness, faith in the Bible and the Constitution.

Me, I am certain that we need a winner, with a winning attitude, who will win at home and in the world, and who will at least have a clue how to restore America to its winning greatness.
