Nonsense. This guy who made billions on the free market has succumbed to the “liberal syndrome”—they only go liberal after thay have made their money. Ask the current CEO of Microsoft if he agrees with this foolish turncoat. Answer: no. Read this you stupid turncoat, it is free: http://www.juliansimon.com/writings/Ultimate_Resource/

Lastly, if you think socialism is the final solution, why not give us a final accounting on how all your largess in giving money away has worked, actually increased wealth and prosperity. I am still wondering why these billionaires do this. I can only surmise that they have no cares and are blind, have no faith in Chriastinity, or both.

Gates is simply a crooked, but clever businessman.
His software sucked.
His knowledge if physics is right there with Al Gore.

He is a rich science clown...period.

Proof once again that rich guys can be as dumb as a bag of bricks.

The fact that we have an energy problem today is solely due to the government’s interference with the free market. Left alone we would be awash in energy from coal nuclear and hydroelectric.

Typically after the government’s meddling has taken something totally into the sewer, the idiots come out of the woodwork promoting what? That the government get involved!

Asshat - the government IS involved. They CREATED this FUBAR situation. How can the answer possibly be more government involvement?

Bill Gates; economic moron.

The inevitable Liberal answer to failure is that not enough resources were devoted to the problem.

So...

DOUBLE DOWN AGAIN! (with our chips, of course).

Take nuclear to the next level with thorium and distributed generation using safe and proven technology. Tell Jane Fonda and her damn chine syndrome pals to shove it.

Shut up Gates. You have yours. Let the middle class grow. We don’t need you .000001% know-it-alls making up rules for the rest of us to suffer through.

One more horrible white liberal elite who wants to tell everyone else how to live.

Gates should have stayed with computers... something he knows something about.

Nuclear is great, but it might be wise to wait another decade before building more. The Gen 4 reactors will use much less fuel and produce much less waste and be orders of magnitudes safer.

And hopefully someday we’ll get to fusion. When I was a kid I’d hoped we’d have it by now, but it’s one tough cookie to crack. But there are plans to build some positive output fusion plants also in the next decade or so. For now the existing nuclear and gas seem to be a good mix, with some wind and solar.

Gates like to be thought of as smart by the intelligentsia. There’s nothing that gets him more atta-boys than touting the farce known as man-made climate change.

Bill Gates Washington State home:

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Bill Gates' house is built into the hillside overlooking the waters of Lake Washington in the city of Medina, WA. The property is located just outside of Seattle and is close to Redmond where Microsoft is located. The 66,000 square foot mansion sits on 5-acres and took over seven years to build at a cost of $63.2 million dollars....

Nicknamed Xanadu 2.0 (after the Citizen Kane estate), Mr. Gates' home is only partially visible from satellite imagery, as some of the compound is built directly into the side of the hill. Only about 20% of the home is family living space, where there are 8 bedrooms and 25 bathrooms. It features a 2,100 square foot library, which has showcased Leonardo da Vinci's 16th-century Codex Leicester that Mr. Gates purchased in 1994 for $30.8 million dollars. There is a 1,000 square foot dining room, and an 84 step staircase that guests descend from the drop-off area on the top of the hill down to the ground floor. You can see the large windows of his 60 foot long indoor/outdoor swimming pool that features an underwater sound system all the way from the lake (guests can swim from the inside to the outside by swimming underneath a glass wall). The property also features a 2,500 square foot gym and a 23-car garage.

Actually, I consider oil to be an “energy miracle”.

With the thousands of petroleum-based products in this world, this mucky, black goo in the ground is the “miracle” God gave us to further civilization and gain progress.

It provides warmth, light, cool, transportation, and a million by products that have advanced mankind into things never imagined before its discovery.

The newest item in that “miracle” is the vast quantity of oil located in our own country and the new methods of extracting it.

Gates stumbled on to one of life’s golden eggs and he is set for life. Those at the apex of the hierarchy have nothing to do other than to try and lord over the rest of us. But, like algore, science is not his forte’ and he should stick to playing crochet with his elitist friends.
