“You had to make the grade to get into one, and they really were oases of peace and learning.”

Here’s a thought, the entire school should be a oasis of peace and learning. Those who seek to disturb and upset those who attend school to get an education should be eliminated by whatever means necessary. Public schools today seek to defend the lowest common denominator in attendance. That has to change.

Thrown across the room? All I saw was that she was dumped out of the desk.

Has anyone ever specified how the arresting officer was supposed to get her out of the desk?

I agree .. in some counties - schools have set up other classes especially for those who are determined to cause a disturbance.

In most cases, it does help .. depending a lot on whether they actually TEACH the children coping skills; help them with attention deficit issues; work with the parents, etc.

However, some of the classes turned out to be baby-sitting .. and the children showed no maturing or adjustment to their attitudes. That actually happened to a child of mine; it took a lot of pushing to get him into a class where he thrived.

Welcome to FreeRepublic. Interesting posting history. Why do you find “liberal mythology” and “anti-white racism” so enjoyable?
