Among the fiercest critics of CNBC's debate telecast on Wednesday night were its rivals at Fox News.

Fox is hosting the next GOP debate, on November 10, on its smaller sister channel Fox Business.

-snip-

Dear Fox,

You were no better.

As I understand it, Gerard Baker (who is a brilliant analyst of many things) is NOT a moderator of the Fox Business debate.

He's not even employed by Fox Biz.

If I were Trump, I’d demand that Fox hands over their advertising profits to charity or else he won’t show up. I wouldn’t want to do another debate at all. Nothing good comes out of them.

Trump should come loaded with ammunition about statements Baker has made about him in the past for use when he asks a ridiculous question. Maybe some dirt from good private investigators as well.

America needs to get the media out of the business of debates all together!

Yep. Their gotcha questions were no better. If they do it again they should have Hannity ask broad based policy questions and give each candidate answer the same question in random order. They don’t need more than one moderator, they just need a fair moderator who understands what Republican and independent voters care about. Hannity has been fair to all the candidates.

Who in the hell is Gerard Baker? I thought that Sandra Smith was one of the moderators.

Good point, GPH.

Why should Trump or any of them subject themselves to unending liberal abuse?

If CNBC had any honor, John Harwood would be unemployed today and Becky Quick would be in charge of the secretarial pool. Carl Q. would be parking cars for CNBC execs.

Obviously, they feel they did a good job for their Comcast masters, who heads reside in the rectums of the Democratic Party hierarchy.

Trump and Carson are talking about changing the formats, today, and I hope the others join them.

Why should they be reduced to the prize steers at a cattle show?

Fox set the tone and the others just took it farther. Megyn would have fit in fine on that panel.

Pray America wakes

FOX already had a chance.

And blew it.

They could have taken the high road and become the gold standard.

But decided to go for meaningless sensationalism.

Don’t know much about Baker. I don’t think Bartiromo will pull a Kelly, and I think Cavuto will ask serious economic/policy questions. If Cavuto has the intelligence and common sense I think he has, he will steer clear of “gotcha” questions. He HAS to know that this is his chance to come off as the best of all the moderators so far.

Just watched The Five on Fox...they list the upcoming moderators as...Trish Regan, Maria Bartiromo, Neil Cavuto and Sandra Smith. I like them all and hope they get to do the debate on their own, without having heavy-handed orders coming down from the people that screwed up the 1st Fox debate.

If Megyn, Bret or Chris are one of the moderators, I will not be watching. They were no better than the moderators from last nights debate....in fact, they were the ones that started off this years debates with trashy, rude obnoxious and dishonest questions. Despicable

Yeah, I like Cavuto. And I am pretty sure he likes Trump.

He may have been placed there as the counter to Baker. With the other person being in the middle. Maybe they are trying to be somewhat fair (although I don't like it one bit.) They're still playing games with a PRESIDENTIAL debate.
