Rand Paul said Tuesday he would filibuster bipartisan budget deal reached by the White House and congressional Republicans, setting up a fight between the presidential candidate and GOP leadership.
The agreement would also raise the debt ceiling, to ensure the U.S. does not default.
The Kentucky senator told reporters in Colorado that he would do "everything I can to stop it."
"It is hard for me not to use profanity in describing it," he said. "We should be using the leverage of the debt ceiling to actually enforce spending restraint."

That’s the nut of it.
The whole Repub critter gang should be filibustering this.
It seems this danger-of-default LIE has been repeated enough such that nearly everyone believes it now.
I’m wondering how he’s going to do this since revenue and budget bills can’t be filibustered.
Perhaps it’s the language he’s filibustering?
Rand Paul should get others to muddle things up in the Senate and protect his Filibuster. KEEP THE CEILING.
I believe Rand lasted 20 minutes, not even the 2 hours. He knows the fix is in, and it shows in his face.
