This post is for those that have never attended one of the shoots.
You don't have to book a room/cottage at whatever resort we have reserved. Several years ago I, finally, figured out that it was easier to eat, drink and mingle if we all stayed at the same place.
If you want to stay somewhere else, of course, you are welcome to join the festivities! A few of us show up on Thursday and go out to dinner. Friday and Saturday night we gather together for 'home cooked' dinners.
If a person only wants to go to the range, that is also cool. The day of the shoot starts around 10:00, we shoot for about three hours then have a delicious lunch provided by cpdiii.

Thanks :) I was asking because we have two summer trips planned (wedding in Florida-whole family going- and our usual week at the Jersey Shore) and I have a knee issue that may require surgery. If we can make the shoot I didn’t want to miss out because we hadn’t reserved the room/cottage at the place you all are staying.
I totally get that (staying at the same place is much more fun). I’ve been wanting to do this since you and Eaker told me about it 8 or so years ago but this is the first year it’s at least possible (the date). The youngest graduates this June and will be settled in at college (her first choice, early action acceptance) by October and no more sports/tournaments filling up every weekend, lol. If I don’t have to take time off for surgery and husband can take vacation days we can make it.
