Donald J. Trump, who is rarely at a loss for words, admitted “I don’t know what’s going on” when confronted by Ben Carson’s surge past him in early-voting Iowa, where Mr. Trump had led the Republican presidential field for months.
Mr. Trump has derided Mr. Carson for lacking the vigor and fortitude to be president, but voters here are drawn to the retired neurosurgeon’s low-pitched manner.
“That smile and his soft voice makes people very comforted,” said Miriam Greenfield, a farmer in Jewell, Iowa.

I suspect this has to do more with Mr Trump's 09-11 comments then anything else. He reinforced GOP voters concerns about his “loose cannon” habits. He needs to get back on message.
But take heart. Maybe Trump and Carson will destroy each other so your idol Cruz move into the GOPe attack machines cross hairs. Then you can be totally happy when GOPe stealth candidate Rubio is the only one left standing after the Conservatives finish fragging each other.

It’s interesting that in head-to-head match ups Dr. Carson does the best against Hillary of any GOP candidate, including Trump.

I'm still waiting for you to explain his quoting Carson is lying about him but since you think he's the best candidate for the job I also have to conclude that you look at the world differently than most people.

Personally I think Carson's rise goes back to his claim that Muslims shouldn't be president. He's the only candidate to directly question their eligibility for the office.

One can only hope. And they're the two most capable of self-destructing.
Carson hasn't been put under the microscope to the extent Trump has, but then again few of the other candidates have as well. Carson got a small sample of what's in store when asked about his Medicare scheme and he managed to muddy the waters about it. But the spotlight is not going to be his friend and I expect him to drop pretty quickly pretty soon.

Insofar as I talked about about Carson, your reply was obviously a lame attempt to bash Trump.

Clearly the left is more comfortable with Carson’s position on issues than Trump’s.
The left’s endorsement of Carson should give Carson supporters pause.
