Global warming could make life in the oil-rich, desert kingdoms of the Gulf "intolerable," with summer temperatures exceeding 60 degrees Celsius (140 F) by 2100 if action is not taken to curb fossil fuel emissions, a study warned on Monday.

Wow, the Warmers keep getting more and more shrill, like a bunch of howling hyenas. Something is wrong with them mentally.

Yes. That’s precisely what they’re doing, and it will continue throughout the extravaganza.

We are to be inundated with their propaganda.

Plate tectonics could uplift the bottom of the Persian gulf to 5,000 feet above sea level too...its not too late to do something about it....our children are depending on us. The African Rift Valley is splitting apart creating a new ocean that will have devastating effects on the middle east too...we must stop it.

Except that satellite data shows that the Middle East hasn’t had any long term warming or cooling trend.

The other report claims the Saudis will be broke in 5 years if the price of oil doesn’t rise.

I guess they’ll have to change the ski lift over to a tow line on that desert downhill ski hill they built in Dubai at the Mall of the Emirates. Tough times. /s

I have lived in a hot country and kvetched about the heat but it’s a learning situation.

We used to bitch about the heat (upper 90’s) especially because it was so GD humid, but eventually, Nature came to the rescue and it began to rain.

If the heat got anywhere above 40 degees C, I’m betting that with all the oceans around, rain would result which would moderate the temperatures. Nature is natural and so is the weather.

...a study warned on Monday.

Better listen to them studies. They wouldn't lie, would they?

Oh, except those studies over the last 40 years that said whole milk is bad for you. I never trusted those studies. Those beady little eyes looked suspicious.

Oh, and then there were those studies that said eggs were bad for you. Turns out they were shiftless little liars, too.

But THIS study. This study wouldn't lie. Would it?

That's blasphemy!!!!

To a Kool-Aid drinking leftist.

Probably racist too...

Even if it were 75°F and sunny every day, 65°F every night with warm showers overnight sometimes, it still would be intolerable! Not the weather, but the people and their false religion!

That is rich! The Middle East is the biggest purveyor of fossil fuel. It’s all they have that is worthwhile, and it is supposedly going to cause their doom.

On the bright side, I have some land in Cutbank, Montana that would be suitable for dates, figs and palm trees.

Yes, it might.

Or it might not.

I don’t know.

Either.

"It is intolerable now! Air conditioning and modern transportation are the only thing that make the climate livable now."

Sounds like Phoenix most of the summer.

This will happen sooner than that, but not because of carbon based fuels.
