How was the reliability? I've read that sub-sonics aren't the best thing to use in semi-auto rifles.
The 10-22 has no problem cycling subsonic rounds. Other rifles do.
Single shot plinking...no problems.
Even occasional double-tap.
But running a 25 shot mag, or the stock 10 rounder for that matter, guaranteed at least one stove pipe.
But for squirrel plinking or crows, even, great stuff.
Makes crow hunting especially challenging, since you get about a 3 inch drop just about the distance where you have shoot a crow.
But, lots of fun.
It's a POP!, as opposed to CRACK!,, not as sharp, if you know what I mean.
