YEah, that’s a super comparison. Standing in surgery is high energy. Wow...you’re really spot on.. you nailed it.
Carson is a super nice guy, buy he’s not presidential in any way shape or form. NOne of these chumps are, except for Trump.
I’ve worked 20 hours straight, too.....but I didn’t have 40 assistants. And I wouldn’t bet he was standing all that time.
My first thought after reading the 20 hours in surgery was stamina not energy.
Aye. There’s the rub.
“You lookin’ at me?”
Trump did Ben Carson a favor.
Now he has the ability to raise his game by being more energetic sounding and a faster talker. Carson has some excellent things to say and if he can improve his delivery speech skills he might be a much more effective candidate.
Not to mention that someone’s skull was opened up for 20 hours.
That is stamina not energy. For instance, a trucker has stamina but not energy unless he stops and runs around the truck.
Both Carson and Trump demanded the two hour debate. Trump only needs 3 to 4 hours of sleep a night. He is plugging away 20 to 21 hours everyday.
So you would never vote for Trump then?
What about the reports that the reason his parents sent him packing to a Military Academy is that he physically assaulted his 8th grade music teacher
.. plus his comment that his temperament has never changed, it's the same as when he was in 1st grade. Interesting parallel: Trump went to New York Military Academy for high school. Carson was in JROTC at Southwestern HS in Detroit.
Nausea PING!
then play it against them NOW, not each other....DUH
Seemed to me he was conflating endurance with being energetic.
And you would be wrong. You can’t stop in the middle of brain surgery. I am sure he has done stints longer than 20 hours. He was a world renowned pioneer in separating twins.
Self discipline.
Some days it takes me 12 hours to complete a recurring task, but on other days that I’m fully alert and focused I’m able to complete the same task in 10 hours.
I really like Dr. Carson in many respects, but I have enough reservations to keep me from taking him seriously as presidential material. He’s done a lot of good by bringing up sharia law and other issues. He’s interesting. But...too many buts...
We need to vote for what we get. None of these are as bad as Romney.
Or. We may get Hillary. Please vote for Trump, Carson, or Cruz.
We are not in a place to be perfectionists.
“Carson has some excellent things to say and if he can improve his delivery speech skills he might be a much more effective candidate.”
Carson is a very nice guy and has good core values - but he seems to be a work in progress and I totally agree that he needs to improve his speaking skills. Chris Wallace interview with him likely did not help - his answers included a lot of “you know” this and that - a common flaw of people not really prepared to speak publicly. It’s OK to pause rather than filling the dead air with “you know.” The substance of his comments indicated he does seek out and try to find the best solutions, not just assume his first position is the correct one - but he really needs to get that advice and get his positions solidified.
