Why Trump Might Win.

The new Politico Caucus survey of insiders from Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina is in. The “politicos” on the ground in those states all agree. Donald Trump has a real and significant chance to become the Republican nominee.

I participated in that survey, and I put his chance at 30%. When I share this view with establishment Republicans and some DC insiders, the expressions range from anger to disbelief to a kind but piteous look that suggests that perhaps the men in the white coats should come and take me away to a safe and comfortable place where I would be at no risk of causing harm to society or to my person.

*snip*

Make no mistake, Trump is running a campaign and it is a strong one, better in many ways than the more traditional campaigns of his opponents. Trump has built a sizeable and deep campaign infrastructure in the early primary states. These organizations are led not by cranky volunteer types who just stick up yard signs and stir the pot, but seasoned political veterans (such as Ed McMullen and Jim Merrill in South Carolina) who know how to win elections.

All of the elements of a great campaign are present. Trump has a brand. He has iconography in the form of the ubiquitous red hat. A Reaganesque slogan in “Make America Great Again.” A battle cry in a song, “We’re Not Gonna Take it Anymore.” And, if he elects to reach under the mattress at Trump Tower, he has more than enough resources to keep the music playing as long as it takes. I can explain Trump’s campaign in 15 seconds. I’m not sure I can explain any of the others in 15 minutes.

Trump's done! I just read about his demise in the wapo by jenny rubin, the pretend conservative. He can't win so he should get out.

Then, jebbie says he doesn't want to be elected if its going to be about fighting and not working to "get things done". Don't worry about it, jebbie.

But he can only win if the integrity of the electronic voting machines and the tactics of the left are put in check, otherwise flying monkeys and Hillary for 8 years. And you thought the AntiChrist was a man...,: )

Trump is saying we need to be for America once again.

It is quite simple, and it is quite effective.

Americans are tired of building up every other country. Build up America once again.

If that be the case, we will see a very big revolt coming. Americans have had it corrupt politics.

I agree and it will be a bloody one at that. Washington politics has diminished and interfered with so many people's lives so badly that it destroyed their standard of living and put them into "survival mode" with the end result that their mind is not in the same complacent state it was before the country went to complete $hit after the king ascended his throne. He has effectively destroyed and dismantled the American dream. I think the PC politicians who are continuously slamming the white man to the mat forgot how he got to the top of the food chain;that they they can be the most devious, barbaric, cruel, and inventive once theur buttons have been pushed too long. We are getting to that place. People are seriously getting fed up. Big time.

Calling all Port Patriots

Keep the peep on the shipping (boat) ports

While the lamestream focusses on the north and south borders .... we need to pay attention to the east and west doors

It’s not Trump “might” win, it’s Trump WILL win.

I’ll have to agree that he might be able to win. However, from an inside point of view (fluent bilingual dealing with Mexicans and many different Latin American nationalities every day), the Latin American world absolutely hate Donald Trump and the hatred is profound. If he wins, more than likely we’re going to see massive political unrest and it will HAVE to be dealt with or some bad things are going to happen. I know so few listen to what I have to say....

People like this author are like the generals who are always fighting yesterday’s war. This fool thinks campaigns have to be waged “as they always have been” or they won’t work. He wants Trump to be nice like Juan McCain and Willard so he can be honored for fighting the good fight at dinners held in Trump hotels. Guys like this are why in spite of what we are been told over and over we really DON’T have lots of Republican candidates. With the exception of Trump and Cruz the rest are warmed over McCain and Romneys.

If Trump becomes the next POTUS, he will have not only the media and the DNC against him, but also the GOPe gunning for him.

The Washington cartel will not go down easy.

There may be blood in the streets no matter what happens.

Only those who are afraid of much needed change in the rightward direction have serious qualms about Trump and/or Cruz.

Now for a short public service announcement to all on FR:

I prefer Cruz and my money goes to his campaign, hence the Cruz link. If you like someone else, donate to him/her (find your own link to do it) and if you use FR and don't donate, then please don't complain about the welfare leeches or those who have Obama Phones because, functionally, you are no different.....

GO CRUZ!! Keep it up Trump!!

Donate to Cruz

Donate to FR

It is going to take a strong hand to quell the protests. They need to be stopped NOW. Try protesting what the people of most Latin American countries want on their OWN streets WHEN YOU’RE NOT FROM THAT COUNTRY and watch what will happen to you. Americans have been so stupid for so long.

I think he's talking about the peoples who live south of the future Great Wall of Sonora-Chihuahua-Coahuila-Nuevo León-Tamaulipas (SCCNLT)...
