WASHINGTON (AP) — President Barack Obama is trying to portray his party’s presidential aspirants as optimistic and civil, while accusing the GOP’s presidential candidates of being glum and divisive.

Speaking to about 500 supporters Friday, Obama said Democrats have an optimistic vision about where the country can go. He said he was proud of last week’s debate among the presidential candidates.

“It was logical and civil, and people didn’t agree with everything, but they weren’t just saying crazy stuff,” he said. “And they weren’t dividing the country into us and them and tapping into people’s worst impulses.”

At one point, Obama described the GOP candidates as being “Grumpy Cat,” and he tried to imitate the Internet sensation’s grumpy facial expression. “Everything is terrible, according to them,” Obama said to laughter.

How funny. depends on your politics and your Alinsky rage, I guess. Because I see the Democrats as being glum and divisive and painting a gloomy picture of the future, whereas the GOP candidates speak in positive uplifting tones, to me.

I hope I live long enough to see him and his grifter family leave the White House. It will be a rude awakening. The change is very dramatic, from what I’ve read about previous departing Presidents.

Well thanks to you a lot of the country, the majority of the country is “glum” about the future Barry. A majority saying the country is heading in the wrong direction, and guess who’s in office? Why, it’s Barack Obama!

And thanks to Obama and one of his main men that “you can do business with” the “Reverend” Al, the country is divided, or being divided more every day as we speak.

IRS targeting conservatives?

Local governments coming down on Christians who don’t openly support abominations?

Targeting the rich?- Well, publically. Privately you love their money and donations.

Yeah, the Democrat party hasn’t divided anyone in this country. *Rolling my eyes down lane 12 at the bowling alley*

It’s part of the bubble he and others like him live in. And that includes the DC GOP. They can’t understand why the electorate is feeling anxiety. Also, there was a poll awhile back were a majority responded they want Barry’s policies done away with
