Actually, talking about the GOP as opposed to Cruz, I think I'm with the author on this one. For example, why are they letting Ebola run roughshod over the separation of powers? Congress is supposed to be far more in control than POTUS. What about Bush's "Patriot Act"? GOPe'rs are constantly either doing unconstitutional stuff or laying down while someone else does, and their oaths be damned.
Well, some of them are immoral or at least amoral. Does that count?

Hey, if you’re an unsuccessful, unknown leftist writer, you write a clearly preposterous piece asserting something a 3 year old knows is false, and there is a good chance Salon or Huffington Post will buy it. As anticipated he loves the government, claims to be an Air Force veteran and “former political scientist” and hates guns. I have NEVER known a former serviceman who hates guns. They trained with them. I wonder what a little scrutiny might reveal on his time in the military and what must’ve been a very short career as a professor and “political scientist”. Sort of reminds me of the clims by movie stars ho lim they can speak 5 different languages only to learn they just learned enough conversationallingo to order food or a beer at their filming locations in other countries...
