Hillary talked once to Obama the night of the attack. They worked out this narrative together. It was also the reason why Rice was selected to be the messenger. Hillary did not want it on her record when she runs for President.

The problem is the format. The Reps should have held the hearing in private taking a deposition from her by trained investigators.
"Books" are part of the legal political bribe machine. A corrupt foreign 'leader' wants a favor - they 'buy' 100,000 books - and donate the 'books' to 'charity'... It's fixed so the publisher doesn't actually have to print the books - they give a kickback - funds - whatever it's called - to the charity and pocket the rest.
I don't know if it's still done that way - because the press doesn't look too closely at Democrats or Publishers... or corruption.
