Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump stated he would revoke passports from people who go overseas to fight for ISIS and Youre going to have to certainly look at closing mosques if the mosque is, you know, loaded for bear on Tuesdays Varney & Co on the Fox Business Network.
Trump [relevant remarks in first video] re-iterated his prior claim about George W. Bush and September 11th, he did say that former President Bill Clinton, along with Bush holds responsibility for the 9/11 attacks. He added, Now, was Clinton possibly, also guilty? Yeah, yeah sure. He should have maybe been more vigilant. And he actually said he knew about Osama bin Laden. I knew about Osama bin Laden, because I wrote about him in my book, I think 19 months before the World Trade Center came down.
He was also asked [relevant remarks begin in the second video] Now, in the UK, in Britain, theyve obviously got a terror problem. Theyve got a lot of youngsters going over to fight for ISIS, about just under 1,000 are going over there, and theyve got a whole new series of proposals to deal with this, including withdrawal of passports from some of these people whove gone .
Trump responded, Absolutely good, good.
After host Stuart Varney continued, And closing some mosques, would you do the same thing in America. Trump answered, I would do that. Absolutely. I think its great.

I think everyone has narcissistic traits, especially those in the public light. That’s not the point, but that you deliberately brought it up in conjunction with your professional to make it sound like a diagnosis. Come on, admit it ;). But I appreciate your attempt to backtrack now.
The word hate isn’t thrown around as much as used to accurately describe some pretty irrational and nasty posts against one candidate by supporters of a 2nd. I’m not sure why yet, but it is rampant among normally intelligent and rational posters. Perhaps the realization that their candidate may not win and hanging onto the last bitter thoughts of denial is just too much.
I think what you could do....once it’s been established that there’s recruitment or shady dealings going on at a particular mosque...you have the local fed prosecutor put a ‘investigation-tape’ around the whole place and have it locked down while the investigation continues. Until people come forward...point fingers...settle the whole investigation on who is the problem....then you effectively have the place closed off. You could do this for years, if necessary.
Germany did the passport freeze and that really screwed down those guys big-time. But...the bulk of all these dimwits who ran off for their great adventure...came to realize within just a month or two that this was all a fraud and stupid personal action. So then, these guys went sneaking around through Turkey and through Europe to get back quietly in Germany. Some have been arrested and charged under the 2014 law change. So, there’s been a review and the Germans have come to realize that they can use these guys who left ISIS....provided that they go through a rehab type program. They are going out now to educate most all older teen males that are Muslim on how they might be approached and how the recruitment talk will be used.
Oddly....at least at this stage...it’s the Saudi-trained Mosque managers who are the problem.
OH YEAH... We got freedom-loving moslems right here in the US exercising their 1st Amendment rights....with the Religion of Peace!
Happens every day...get em outta here!
Similarly, M4’s, M16’s and AK’s were never envisioned by the founders. Cable news, blogs and broadcast TV were also not envisioned. So the right to bear arms only applies to muskets and Bowie knives and the freedom of the press applies only to one sheet broadsides. Your argument is childish despite soaring rhetoric.
Freedom to practice ones religion is a right, not subject to your approval or Obamas approval. There is no right to practice terrorism or treason. Try to understand the difference. Or not. I don’t much care.
It applies to military weapons.
It's a terrorism thing...you may have heard of 9/11.
One would hope you could understand...Islam is not a religion in the sense we understand the word.
Sure.
It is not I who does not understand the US Constitution and freedom. It is you. There are millions of citizens here who are Muslims. They are every bit the citizen you are and enjoy the same rights. I don’t have to agree with their religion to recognize they have a right to practice it anymore than I have to agree with your nutty opinions to recognize you have a right to express them. So long as your opinions and their religion don’t get in my face we are good.
Religion applies to religion. See how easy that was?
It’s not one...see how easy that was.
Sure , I also heard you are the arbiter of what is and is not a religion. We’re you elected dictator or appointed by popular opinion?
not only those who leave to fight for ISIS but all their family members as well.
Sure , I also heard you are the arbiter of what is and is not a religion. Were you elected dictator or appointed by popular opinion?
Fighting for ISIS is grounds for capital punishment.
>>>It applies to military weapons<<<
I’ve read that 70% of all the Cannons used by Washington’s Military Forces came from Private Owners.
My Lib B-I-L brought up the (his) “fact” that the 2nd Amendment only pertains to Musket Ownership. I countered that if that were true, the First Amendment would only pertain to Printing Press Ownership.
No Internet, no Television, no Radio, nothing but Printing Press Ownership would be allowed by our Masters.
Next time I will throw in Cannon Ownership to him.
Sure, it is always easy to make declarative statements that are false. Statists do it all the time.
Name a religion that tells it’s adherents to kill Jews and practically everyone else unless they “submit”?
Name a religion who’s main icon is a child-molesting murderer.
Hey! You wouldn’t happen to be one of them 3M guys would you?
And while you’re at it, name a religion that has openly declared war against us.
