SOUTHWEST ASIA, October 19, 2015 — U.S. and coalition military forces have continued to attack Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant terrorists in Syria and Iraq, Combined Joint Task Force Operation Inherent Resolve officials reported today.

Officials reported details of the latest strikes, noting that assessments of results are based on initial reports.

Airstrike in Syria

Fighter aircraft conducted an airstrike near Manbij, which destroyed three ISIL tactical vehicles.

Airstrikes in Iraq

Attack, bomber, fighter, remotely piloted aircraft and rocket artillery conducted 17 strikes in Iraq, coordinated with and in support of the Iraqi government:

-- Near Baghdadi, a strike struck an ISIL tactical unit, destroyed an ISIL bunker and wounded an ISIL fighter.

-- Near Beiji, two strikes struck two separate ISIL tactical units and destroyed an ISIL mortar system.

-- Near Fallujah, a strike struck an ISIL tactical unit and destroyed an ISIL weapons cache, an ISIL building, and an ISIL mortar system.

-- Near Kisik, a strike struck an ISIL tactical unit, destroyed an ISIL vehicle and wounded an ISIL fighter.

-- Near Ramadi, four strikes struck two separate ISIL tactical units; destroyed four ISIL fighting positions, four ISIL buildings, four ISIL heavy machine guns, and two ISIL vehicles; and denied ISIL access to terrain.

-- Near Sinjar, four strikes struck two separate ISIL tactical units and destroyed 17 ISIL fighting positions, two ISIL vehicles, an ISIL assembly area, and two ISIL command-and-control nodes.

-- Near Tal Afar, four strikes struck an ISIL tactical unit, destroyed an ISIL vehicle and four ISIL fighting positions, and wounded an ISIL fighter.

Part of Operation Inherent Resolve

The strikes were conducted as part of Operation Inherent Resolve, the operation to eliminate the ISIL terrorist group and the threat they pose to Iraq, Syria, and the wider international community. The destruction of ISIL targets in Syria and Iraq further limits the terrorist group's ability to project terror and conduct operations, officials said.

Coalition nations conducting airstrikes in Iraq include the United States, Australia, Canada, France, Jordan, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom. Coalition nations conducting airstrikes in Syria include the United States, Australia, Bahrain, Canada, France, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and the United Arab Emirates.

Sounds like Vietnam, more and more every day. The only difference is you don't see any of this on the news do you? Nope. None of this. It is all carefully controlled in plain sight.

Note the artillery in Iraq. Not just air strikes. Whose artillery? Iraq? Who aimed it for them?

"Near Baghdadi, a strike struck an ISIL tactical unit, destroyed an ISIL bunker and wounded an ISIL fighter."

If this is what we are doing let's quit it. It isn't worth our risk. We have been at war long enough. The 1% are paying for the less than 1% to fight and the rest of the nation just effs around.

DoD don't make this real easy to find. Go to http://www.defense.gov/News

All Kabuki.

1. The shameless Pentagon and the White Mosque support
Islam including al Qaeda against Jews, Christians,
Israel, Egypt, Americans, etc. etc.

2. The White Mosque is a PROVEN Moslem liar with
no documentation. No SS#. No BC.

wounded an ISIL fighter

So, along with $4 million per man training costs, what do we get here... corresponding $4 million per enemy wound?

Some nice secondary explosions seen on some of these targets... You can judge the accuracy of the strikes by the number of “aloha snackbars” coming from the observers

but the piece de resistance is at 13:14 in the video, where the Russians announce that their ship-based missiles are being launched by women, sending ISIS to hell at the hands of women!

Nice Touch Putin!

This is BS. For over a year not a word. Then suddenly we start with this “me too!”
We have supposedly been bombing the snot out of them for 13 or 14 months. How do they have anything left?

The Russians embarrassed them. And sounds like no strikes against any other rebels. They are exactly the same.
The idea that ISIS is different from any other rebels is a loony US Govt McCain/Obama fantasy.

Is it me or - does it seem that the frequency of these attacks have increased since Vlad went into the AO?

Reading the list of damages, the word ‘pinprick’ came to mind. A few mortars, a few Toyota trucks, a building or two. Pathetic.

The Russian have been hitting about 40-60 targets per day but sources indicate they are going to go up to 300 sorties

Once they take Aleppo, then on to Raqqa

Meanwhile, for our part, the US in past week has bombed 3 power stations, leaving Aleppo (Syria’s 3rd largest city) without electricity ...

Gee, you’d think instead of killing headchoppers, we the USA are trying to leave the government forces and civilians with scorched earth

This is a B.S. Report.

The Russians are now doing it, and now the Administration is pretending they are actually going after ISIS.

EVERYBODY KNOWS, they did not do JACK $HIT to ISIS prior to The Russians pouring 1,000 new troops into Syria everyday.

Now they are trying to take credit for something they did not do.

LIES.... ALL LIES!!!

These reports have been made by DoD regularly for a long time. Same kind of results, tactical destroyed, excavator destroyed, machine gun destroyed, fighting position destroyed, fighter wounded etc.

These are not me too reports. These are regular reports in press releases by DoD each day that are not reported on by the lame stream media.

They have not increased. They have not been reported on much at all though.

A-10 and Apaches are out hunting every day for targets of opportunity as are other aircraft but mostly those other AC come back with full weapons loads.

BS. The Russians are bombing anyone that’s not on Assad’s side, and sometimes that includes ISIS. Obama’s trying to take the credit for it.
