Ruger 10/22, IMHO, for the price, probably the best .22LR semiauto rifle in America.

I agree. My ONLY complaint about mine (and the weapon in general) is that the action does not remain open after firing the final from a magazine.

You can buy an aftermarket fix for that, but it requires taking it apart to install.
