During an appearance on CNN’s Reliable Sources Sunday, veteran journalist Carl Bernstein trashed the Benghazi committee ahead of Hillary Clinton’s testimony and insisted the Democrat will “murder them because it has been a witch hunt. It has been partisan. It's great opportunity for her.”
Bernstein also praised Clinton’s debate performance as “her greatest moment in this campaign which has been a disaster for her up until the debate” but ultimately admitted “I don't think that a reset button was successfully hit. We're still back to these basic questions about her truthfulness about the server, the foundation, about the FBI investigation.”

I will be in the minority here... but I think HRC will do just fine during Gowdy hearings.
As for Bernstein ... that man has always struck me as being slimy. I feel the same about Woodward ... slimy old hacks who have been dinning off Watergate BS for decades.

Gowdy is a top flight prosecutor. He'll be on point and never ask a question to which he does not already know the answer. Hillary on the other hand will either deny everything or use the old reliable,"I can't recall" defense.

You know she has been drilled and drilled and drilled with teams of attorneys and media consultants, and they've provided her with a ton of practiced ‘zinger’ responses that they've tested for response. The committee needs to be extremely professional, and make this about those who lost their life and suffered.
