Rand Paul to Newsmax: 'Polarizing' Trump 'Worst Nominee We Could Possibly Think Of'

Front-running GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump would end up "the largest loser of any candidate ever in the history of the country" if he were the party's standard-bearer in 2016, Sen. Rand Paul tells Newsmax TV.

In a no-holds-barred interview with "The Hard Line" host Ed Berliner to air Monday night at 9 p.m. ET, the Kentucky Republican – running well behind Trump in national polls and struggling with fundraising – says the brash billionaire's "attitude" is "so polarizing" that if he were the Republican presidential nominee, "we'd get just swamped in a landslide."

Rand Paul should debate Bernie Sanders. But then again they would probably be agreeing with each other more than debating.

Yeah, we can’t have a candidate that tells it like it is.

“...brash billionaire’s “attitude” is “so polarizing” that if he were the Republican presidential nominee, “we’d get just swamped in a landslide.”

It seems to me that the GOP has elected nominees (McCain and Romney) who were actively campaigning to work with democrats if they became president. McCain even went so far as to tell an old GOP woman that Obama would be a great president and Americans had nothing to fear from him. How’s that for some soothing talk? And yet, those two Republican nominees were still “swamped in a landslide”.

Hey Paul, don’t you think it’s time we try something else?

No, what got us Obama was the GOP’s selling out to the Cheap Labor Express and trying to force people to vote for amnesty.

Run another amnesty candidate and lose again.

Worst nominee, said the guy who has fallen so low he would barely qualify for the kiddie table.

Per one over-night thread, Trump is at 33%.

What is the number for Paul? Oh, his was similar. He has a 3 too — he is at 3%.

“Do you think they’re going to nominate somebody who implies that most Hispanics are rapists and drug dealers?”

Notice the weasel wording this little weasel uses. He knows that Trump did not SAY the above quote and he uses the subjective “implies” so he can’t be called a bald-faced liar, which is what he is. I hope someone primaries his sorry ass. He can go hold hands with Al Sharpton.

...and another one bit the dust....

I think these people that are under 7% are doing to to make Trump look bad...they know they don’t have a chance in heck to win...so they attack Trump knowing that he will take their heads off....but it’s not THEIR faults, it’s Trump’s is the way they get out of the race without losing face...

We are on to you guys, you don’t have the guts to stand up and say, “the people don’t want us so we are bowing out” no they would rather do it the spineless sissy way, so take your toys boys and girl, and go home....your done...

Paul should shut up. He needs to remember he signed a pledge to support Trump.

He should immediately bow out of the race and start supporting Trump/Cruz!

With hindsight, McCain was clearly our worst nominee in history, ushering in Obama.

says the brash billionaire's "attitude" is "so polarizing"

And polarization is EXACTLY what we need - but not along conventional lines.

We need to find, fix, and destroy the Uniparty minority ruling us through false polarization, divide Americans from globalists, finish off the GOPe, and rule for 50 years.
