Donald Trump goes after Megyn Kelly again
CNN Money ^ | 10/16/2015

Posted on 10/16/2015 7:52:34 PM PDT by BlackFemaleArmyColonel

Donald Trump has resumed criticizing Megyn Kelly, threatening to disrupt the fragile, on-again-off-again truce between himself and Fox News. Trump took to Twitter during Kelly's Thursday night broadcast to criticize her guests, as "dumb puppets." He also claimed that he didn't watch her show -- which is doubtful, given his tweets -- and retweeted users who disparaged the program.

Trump kicked off Thursday night's tirade by targeting Kelly's guests, Fox News digital politics editor Chris Stirewalt and former George Bush speechwriter Marc Thiessen, who now serves as a columnist and Fox News contributor.

"Megyn Kelly has two really dumb puppets, Chris Stirewalt & Marc [Thiessen] (a Bushy) who do exactly what she says," Trump tweeted. "Every poll, Time, Drudge, Slate and others, said I won both debates - but heard Megyn Kelly had her two puppets say bad stuff. I don't watch."

Trump’s shtick of building himself up by running others down is getting really tiresome. I just don’t think this stuff is going to play well in the general election. I’ll vote for him if he is the nominee, but I hope he tanks and gets out.

I didn’t realize how well they could control crowd noise until I attended a few talk shows here on the West Coast. I noted that loud responses by the crowd were edited out.

So you’re correct. They hide crowd size and silence the sound of massive support.

When they don’t, ouch.

Last week they had a clip where Trump came on the platform, and it took about 20 seconds before they would let him talk. It was an incredibly positive show of support.

I’ve never seen anything like it out of the other camps.

People are on fire for Trump. That’s about the only way you can describe it.

I used to defend Kelly but she is now so unfair and unbalanced.

That’s about the first thing I’ve read that jives...kind of “Pattonesque”...I like it. Fire at will Trump, it’s your show.

Trump usually tweets from the golf course.

Takes him about a minute but it dominates the news cycle.

As if CNN gives a ring-tailed red rat’s rear-end about Megan Kelly or anybody else at Fox News. This is just another lame, half-ass attempt to put a ding in Trump’s armor. It ain’t gonna happen.

By all accounts Trump has a life.

He apparently has so much life he is willing to “sit around” and observe the political discourse of the day (as well as run for prez and in the process whip the sash off his pretend contenders in a presidential election campaign) and teach the media their is a price to be paid for smearing his name.

So, don’t mention his name in a lie or a smear. Simple.

You don’t really believe the Reagan Mondale type of election do you?

Trump usually tweets from the golf course.

As a new follower of Mr Trump, I can tell you that he has had a successful trip to Boston and a good crowd at his rally.

I think he had hoped to hook up with his friend Tom Brady for a round of golf, but I doubt that happened on his tight schedule.

His twitter feed is very entertaining.

ExZZZACTLY.

Trump knows TV, public relations, sales & marketing, repetition, ratings, profiling, profit & loss, and back to that repetition thing. Someone is new everyday. He intends to educate them to his campaign and to exactly who it is that are making their living trying to sabotage it.

Because we’ve heard it, we are on to it and we get it, does not mean every voter he is after has yet even heard it, or yet knows any of it.

If news reports that the Teamsters are seriously considering endorsing him pan out, Trump could easily take Michigan and Pennsylvania. Maybe Wisconsin.

More than any other union, the Teamsters are a "bottom-up" organization. The rank and file rule the roost much more than the typical situation where the union bosses have the final say.

It won't be a Reagan/Mondale landslide, but it won't be a GWB squeaker, either.

I believe a landslide is possible...maybe not 49 states...but the level of frustration is severe, and Trump is the anti-politician, anti-establishment, anti-MSM lightning rod where all of that frustration is going.

I believe a HUGE win is possible,. I know a number of black Americans, Latinos, even dems who are supporting hm.

He’s keeping the focus on him;other candidates can’t get any attention/traction to gain ground. Clever tactic.
