There are LOTS of us ready to defend our nation, not all of us vets like you (but our weapons function just the same).
I would, however, watch my back if I were him - heroes like him who speak out tend to have “accidents,” and I want him around for a LONG time.
Oh, FYI Dakota, there aren’t 270 million guns in this country...it is far closer to 400 million (it was about 300 million when the traitor-in-chief took office, and smart Americans have bought about 12 million guns/year since then). It’s the Bundy Ranch situation in my mind as well. The BLM guys in the Body Armor, who were they? They were Americans. Most likely guys that had served. That is who the enemy intends to send against us. They intend to send us against us.
These types should be made to understand that we will not accept Party Members in our communities. Their wives will not be invited to the book club. Their children will have to be told to lie when asked what their Father does for a living. Until we rid ourselves of our own traitors we will never right the ship. The problem is, they don’t know they are traitors. Yet.

We ought to get tough with members of any and all of the terrorist organizations and countries on the Department of State list. We should break off diplomatic relations with those countries—Cuba included—and cancel all visas for people from those countries giving them 24 hours to get out of the USA. We should make being a member of a terrorist organization a capital crime. Upon conviction members of such organizations should have their appeals fast tracked to be filed in 30 days and heard within 30 days. When the process is over, they should be forced fed bacon and then have a third eye socket installed.

I thought 270M was a little low too.
I was thinking I need more ammo and to make sure my bolt and bolt carrier are wet.
And they will, especially with the SPLC and others deeming patriotic (especially white) people who own firearms as potential "domestic terrorists".
When the emphasis should be on local mosques and madrasas, expect the Confidential Informants, Undercover detectives, and agents provocateur to show up at any meeting they can and try to start trouble so the Feds can arrest (or worse).
I'm not trying to dissuade anyone, just letting you know what to expect. There are ways around this, but be careful what is said and how it is said because the walls have ears.

Thanks for posting this. It’s reassuring to remember who we are beyond political correctness and Obama and the uni-party’s never ending radical Muslim fearful lovefest.
Isis may take out some Americans at a gun-free zone like a school or mall...but they are dead, dead, dead once they pop their nasty heads up.
There are more of us, trained and prepared in firearms and self defense, than there are of them. And plenty of American civilians have proven they are extremely brave when confronted by terrorists. Obama’s Homeland inSecurity has a lot of nerve putting Vets on their domestic terrorist list and the uni-party’s effort to disarm us in the face of a planned Islamic invasion of Islamic “refugee” is disgusting, too. As a woman, I see my firearms as the greatest equalizer with the strength of bad men.
I really thank Dr. Carson for urging Americans to take out mass shooters rather than line up for death. Americans should be trained on how to survive such terrorist attacks. They do it on planes. They need to know they can do it everywhere and are expected to do so.

We human-type persons seem to like symmetry. We want a “sensible center,” with people becoming less and less sensible the further away from this “center” that they get, until you reach equally repulsive barking-moonbat extremists on both sides.
In real life this symmetry does not exist. It would be much more accurate to represent the political, philosophical, and theological spectrum as a continuum stretching from God on the right to Satan on the left. This obviously means that the leftmost Stupid Party lackwit could be to the left of the rightmost fiend of the Evil Party; he could fancy himself an atheist and still be to the right of a demon-ridden Evil Party Messalina who claimed the label of Catholic without holding or supporting Catholic beliefs. It also means that moving to the left is always capital-e Evil, while moving to the right is always capital-g Good.
This model is asymmetrical in that Satan will probably let you get as close to him as you like, while it is humanly impossible to get close enough to God—which is to say, far enough to the right. There is no meaningful “center”; we are either moving closer to God or closer to the Earl of Hell. There is no place to sit and congratulate ourselves for being “right where we ought to be in the sensible center.”
This model is also asymmetrical in that people tend to become increasingly dangerous zealots the further to the left they go, but the very opposite of that the further to the right they go.
It seems to me that the Parable of the Pharisee and the Tax Collector speaks to this.
Luke 18:9. And to some who trusted in themselves as just and despised others, he spoke also this parable:

How are people who think themselves to be in the “sensible center” different from the Pharisee? Are they not, like him, self-satisfied? Is not the concept of the “sensible center” a pagan, Aristotelian invention, arising from the concept of the Golden Mean?
I’d like to ask, therefore, who are these “zealots to the very far right” that will become dangerous to everyone? What makes them zealots, what is it that places them far to the right, and what is it that makes them dangerous?
