Just as the Houston Astros are making their first post-season appearance in a decade, one of the franchise's all-time top players has made an ad blasting the city's mayor over a proposal headed for the November ballot that would allow transgender people to use the public restroom of their choice.
Lance Berkman, who slugged 366 home runs for the Astros, Rangers, Cardinals and Yankees during a 15-year career, filmed a commercial for a political action committee working to defeat the Houston Equal Rights Ordinance when it comes up for a vote on Nov. 3. HERO would ban discrimination on a multitude of fronts, including sex, race, color and ethnicity. Those opposed to the law, however, have homed in on the protections it affords people who may identify as a different gender than the one they were assigned at birth.

“I played professional baseball for 15 years, but my family is more important,” the six-time All-Star says in the spot. “My wife and I have four daughters. Proposition 1 would allow troubled men who claim to be women to enter women’s bathrooms, showers and locker rooms. It’s better to prevent this danger by closing women’s restrooms to men, rather than waiting for a crime to happen. Join me to stop the violation of privacy and discrimination against women.

Or better yet have a film crew using covert cams go go a gay bar on any given night for a bit and they will see just how sex-oriented their culture is.
I wouldn’t wantnto be the guy having to film the bathroom footage though. As former LEO I saw the depravity or should I say the end result of what they do behind closed doors more than I ever wanted to. They’re far more depraved and deviant than the publicmis aware. Their whole existence for man is the sex aspect and they certainly aren’t monogamous by any stretch of the imagination. Most are open marriages where they can have sex with whoever they want.

I don't even understand Parker's tweets on this. Apparently, she regards Berkman as hypocrite because he played baseball in cities that have similar laws?
I remember when she was first running for mayor. I think Michael Berry even thought she might be the best candidate running (he had been on the city council with her). One thing we have learned from Annise Parker: never vote for an openly gay candidate. She passed herself off as a fiscally conservative candidate, but in the end, she was all about gayness, and being gay and stifling opposition. I remember when they showed some of the city council debate on this issue on the local news. She yelled during the debate "this is about ME!" (meaning her as a gay person).
