Thanks, that’s a book I don’t know. I have read Fischer’s ‘Albion’s Seed’ which describes the four different groups from Great Britain that settled North America and essentially created the culture here, and “Born Fighting” seems to echo the section “Borderlands to Backcountry” about the Scots Irish. Funny how language and customs carried forward into my own life after who knows how many generations. My own family line is a blend of the south England cavaliers and the Scots Irish. Plus at least one New Orleans pirate.

You know, obamaumao was told by Kenya to pound sand about his particular bent in homosexual perversion— which he pushed on the Kenyan govt. and people in his speeches. So that culture did not accept homo marriage or relationships as it is against the law. It is perversion to them, and ought to be to the US— unstable as the individuals are mentally with or without acceptance.

Problem with “writer’s mentality” for illumination of a book that is not needed or important. He is married to an Asian woman (and so is McConnell—Elaine Chao whose father has a large cargo ship company- explains a lot about McConnell’s priorities and graft).

This stuff disgusts me, and I see/saw no need for Webb to put it in his book. A sliding morality scale is a major part of why he is a dem no doubt.
Same as the “queer mountaineer” in James Dickey’s “Deliverance” (who in one move stereotyped Southern mountain rural people as perverts and psychopaths— far from what they are in real life, and all to SELL a book and a movie)

Democrats are currently engaged in a slightly bizarre bidding war between Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders to see whether Congress in 2017 will reject a legislative agenda that is somewhat to the left of Obama’s or drastically to its left.
