A great video from Meet the Press yesterday where Chuck Todd and the Panel agree that Ted Cruz has positioned himself better than anyone else with a great organization and as an articulate voice that can tap into the so-called ‘outsiders’:

Thanks, was on the previous ping list... even though the volume had gone through the roof.

Beware this is a high volume ping list. If you ever need to get off of it, please let me know. :)

Trump is just tapping a “Hope & Change”, “Mmm, mmm, mmm”, “Yes we can! Yes we can!” mindset.

If Trump were to win the GOP nomination, and he promised to name Cruz to the SCOTUS, he would LOSE the support of this Cruz supporter. I would LOVE to see Cruz on SCOTUS, AFTER eight years as president. If Trump would win the GOP nomination, and wanted to gain Cruz supporters, he would be smarter to name Cruz as his pick for VP.

I need chucks opinion like I need a 50lb hemorrhoid

I think "Fchucktodd" in ancient Classical Nahuatl translates to "50 pound hemorrhoid".

.
Anyone that fails to reject push polls is a fool.

They eliminate everyone that is going the “wrong” way before the poll even begins by asking qualifying questions. That way they are guaranteed of the desired outcome.

Thanks for a window into the mind of a Trump hater. I could not, as a Trump supporter, identify one accurate observation in your entire screed. Rather, it is a warped projection of false memes. You have cherry picked a couple of facts, ignored everything else, and created a scenario that only Trump haters could believe to be true.

Your analysis is entirely non-fact based/irrational, and therefore not susceptible to correction. Clearly you will believe it regardless. It must be somehow comforting to imagine yourself one of the few reasonable people remaining, while so many have (in your make believe scenario) succumbed to the snake oil salesman of lies. Who am I to deny you such comfort?

That’s a window into an unconfused mind of an observant man.

A totally logical, unemotional analysis.

I could not, as a Trump supporter, identify one accurate observation in your entire screed.

Which is characteristic of Trump followers. You can't find anything to disagree with, even though it is all right there in front of you, because you believe in the man rather than the policies. Oh sure, he throws you enough red meat to keep you happy, but Trumps support of the eminent domain Kelo decision alone would probably disqualify most candidates in the eyes of a Trumpster - yet no matter his non conservative positions the Trumpsters will support him.

Were you even aware that "the Donald", supposedly the great fighter against illegal immigration, just 3 years ago thought Romney of all people was too TOUGH on illegal immigrants? Even if you did, I doubt it would matter.

Have you even listened to his own words? Trump is whatever Trump needs to be in the moment to achieve his ends. Buying off politicians? Fine, when it suits him. You do realize there are conservative businessmen out there that never stooped to that, right? Running for President? Become a Republican and say whatever needs to be said. How do you know once he's elected he won't simply say "Well I said what I had to in order to get elected, that's what a great deal maker does" and then go back to supporting his previous long list of un-conservative positions?

Trump is no conservative. And he is most certainly not grounded in conservative thought and ideology.

Trump is a populist protectionists with some nationalism thrown in (which jibes with the protectionism). He may lean conservative on some issues, but he is not truly conservative. This isn't Trump hate, it's a reasonable analysis of the man based on his endless flip flopping on issues. Heck, between 2000-2010 he was 8 years a Democrat and has said he leans Democrat. Was that only what was expedient at the time, or are you going to try to claim he's anything like Reagan? Trump is most certainly no Reagan. By the time Reagan ran for President he had had more than a decade to consider these issues and and the debates that surround them.

As I said before, you cherrypick your facts without regard to accuracy. There is a whole forest of facts but you are too fixated on a couple of trees to be aware of it. The greatest waste of time I can envision is attempting to argue with an irrational person who envisions himself as the apex of rationality.

‘There is no post-Trump conservative.’

Worth repeating.

Please, show us to these trees? And not just the bark, make sure your facts are good solid wood all through.

Nothing short of Trump being caught in bed with a boy, or criminal charges being filed against him will stop him now, that I can see.

Especially when Freepers refuse to see Trump for what he really is.

The trees are the couple of cherrypicked facts used to paint an incomplete picture of Trump. They’ve been cited above, so it’s unnecessary to reprise them. If these couple of facts were integrated with ALL the facts concerning Trump, the lopsided picture falls apart.

The trees are the couple of cherrypicked facts used to paint an incomplete picture of Trump. They’ve been cited above, so it’s unnecessary to reprise them. If these couple of facts were integrated with ALL the facts concerning Trump, the lopsided picture falls apart.

Facts cited above by who? All of your posts have been full of big words saying nothing but 'I'm right and y'all are wrong!'. The closest thing to Trump facts that I can find are these:

22 - Trump pulls in people across demographic lines. Cruz doesn't and won't.
Trump is very popular. He is charismatic. He is a nationalist on fire

35 - Trump is a well polished realityTV star who, by his own words, will say whatever is necessary to achieve his ends. What Trump isn’t is a person grounded in conservative thought and ideology.

43 - I can’t remember where I read this months ago, perhaps it was Sundance over at Conservative Treehouse, but the gist was that once the GOPe got done trying to foist their merry band of losers on us, that they would embrace Cruz as the last stop against Trump. Theory being that although they despise Ted, he is in the club as an elected Senator and he would be far better for them than someone like Trump

Post 47 is a good analysis.

55 - Trump and his followers bill "the Donald" as the great fighter against illegal immigration. Yet just a couple years ago he claimed Romney of all people was too tough on illegal immigration. And all Romney wanted to do was enforce eVerify and thus discourage illegals from even coming here

And that's about it in terms of actual statements of facts. In all of 75+ posts, neither yourself NOR the people you're trolling have really posted much of anything based in facts. The entire conversation has been conjecture and people's opinions. You haven't even posted anything of any substance. The only posts I could find even close to your idea is 22 (Doughty) and 47 (TheShaz), both of which only talk about his crowds and cross-demographic attendees. NONE of which talks about his actual positions, previous positions, or anything beyond talk. You don't even have the forest, all you have is a couple bushes blocking your view. The ONLY reason Trump is doing so well is he's a celebrity with name recognition, on top of his brashness in saying what the people believe. SAYING what people want. But he actually hasn't done anything to back that up behind him, Much of that history of his isn't something Conservatives would support. Except he's saying the right stuff now and his name is well-known. That's it.

How many of the people going to his speeches and events are actually going to take the time to go vote for him? It's one thing to go attend a big rally/party for some celebrity. But if he's not at the polling station for you to come say hi, how many of those crowds are the type of people to actually take the time to go do some mundane boring thing like voting? Trump has no ground game, not much organization, and really no way to motivate people to actually go vote when that day comes. All he has is speeches and free media coverage from them trying to take him down.

That was very insulting to everyone that has attended a Trump rally. Are you sure you want to insult these Americans?

You have totally, completely, one hundred percent misunderstood the entire exchange in general and the trees/forest reference in particular. How can anyone discuss these issues with you if you cannot come even close to following a simple discussion in basic English?

The Cruz supporters want to insult everyone who is not gung ho for their guy. They imagine (falsely) that this will benefit Cruz. [There are certainly exceptions. But on the whole, I’ve never seen a candidate with followers more eager to demean and insult anyone and everyone who is not on their bandwagon.]

Was it really? How so? The fact that fantasywriter can't have an actual conversation? Or that many of the people attending aren't big into politics, but more attended because he's a big name celebrity? When he was down here in Dallas, the couple people I knew who attended were either kinda political, just wanted to hear him, or the others who went because he's the guy from The Apprentice. No one I know who went, went because they rabidly support his policies and politics.
