Dr. Ben Carson has joined the growing chorus of outrage over Russian President Vladimir Putin's military muscle flexing, telling Newsmax TV a no-fly zone should be created along the Turkish border.
A sophisticated missile defense system should also be put in place to keep Russia's fighter jets in check, according to Carson, a retired pediatric neurosurgeon seeking the 2016 GOP presidential nomination.
"Vladimir Putin has expansionist ideas. He wants to really re-establish a worldwide Soviet influence," Carson told Newsmax TV's Steve Malzberg in an interview aired Thursday.
"He was very unhappy with the dissolution [of the Soviet Union]. Now he's looking for weakness. What we need to do is demonstrate that there is no weakness there."
And that means putting the kibosh on Russia's bullying of surrounding nations, he believes.
"We need to stand our ground with the airspace. I would establish a no-fly zone along the border with Turkey, in no way would I back off," Carson said.

I don’t know what Trump said but to prop up the butchering Turkish regime with a no-fly zone on their border would not be my policy.
They murdered a hundred Kurds with a bomb yesterday while they protesting on the streets of Ankara and have been launching continuous attacks on Kurdish territory while the Kurds are trying to fight the IS.

Carson, for what ever reasons, has been told by his handlers he needs to speak out on this, inept because he doesn't sound to me to be smart enough about war, but there again is only my opinion...I think Carson is many things, but this puts him in a bad light, but with the money that T Bone is putting into his coffers right now, seems like he is jabbering....
I don't like Putin nor do I trust him, but I don't like obuma either, so if someone can go in and clean up this obuma muslim brotherhood buddy mess, good for them...are people going to get killed, yes...are people going to get hurt, yes again, will they be Christians, yes and some won't be...that's war and we have fought enough of them to know this...I'm just glad we are NOT over there in the middle of this, we have lost enough brothers, uncles,husbands, fathers, we need to heal America and Make Her Great Again....hopefully, we will have time...
