Homosexuals are known to frequent bars with "girlfriends" whose job is to entice males into conversation and ply them with drinks then allow their homosexual partner to move in and attempt to establish a laiason with the drunken target.
It could very well be that this may have been the scenario and the attackers followed Mr. Stone and attacked him..........
I'm NOT saying it's so but merely postulating the possibility based on experience............
