Ted Cruz. Only one I can think of that has shown the principals, courage and organization skills to fight the DC Machine for us.
While I am aware that anyone who can get the votes can elected to be speaker, my question is, “Has anyone other than someone from the house fraternity been elected speaker?”
Cruz is a senator, not a rep. in the fraternity.
