Just hours after the mass shooting at Umpqua Community College in Rosenberg, Oregon last week, President Obama stepped to the microphones at the White House to deliberately politicize the tragedy in the name of gun control.
“Somebody, somewhere will comment and say, Obama politicized this issue. Well, this is something we should politicize,” he said, admittedly without all of the facts surrounding the situation. "We should be changing these [gun control] laws."
Now the community affected by the shooting is saying no thanks to an official Obama visit, which is scheduled for later this week. Why? They don't want Obama standing on the graves of their dead for political reasons.
President Barack Obama will travel to Oregon this week to visit privately with families of the victims of last week's shooting at a community college.
However the trip has angered locals in Roseburg who say Obama is 'not welcome' in the town because the visit will be nothing but a 'grandstand for political purposes'.

No word yet on who exactly President Obama plans to visit while he's in town or how long he'll stay.

Roseburg is a conservative place.
They will bus in the Libs from Eugene. You should have seen some of the posts from their. Libs hate the Roseberg area because it’s Logging, Fishing and Farming. You know. Real work.
I hope they put their money where their mouths are and do something like some civil disobedience and block traffic or the runway so he cannot get into town.

Whenever there is a shooting (outside of Chicago) Obama is climbing on top of the still quivering bodies to granndstand before the facts are even known.
I’m looking forward to seeing one of the families tell off Obama, and record the entire thing.
Of course, his handlers will do everything they can to prevent that. But, if I had the opportunity, I’d play along and pretend to be sympathetic until I was standing in front of him.
And then I would “get in his face”, to use his own words.
Obama should be where his heart leads him.
That would be comforting the families of the ISIS terrorists that Putin killed.
I hate this nonsense of Presidents showing up at funerals of crime victims. I don’t remember Nixon showing up (or was it Johnson?) showing up at the Manson murders.
