Even if his numbers did start to fall, I think his ego would not allow him to drop out. As you said, he is not a quitter, and reading his “Art of the Deal”, some deals took quite a while to consummate.
......kinda reminds me of TV's Judge Judy who also holds that title.
Like Donald, Judge Judy always says exactly what's on her mind.....one waits in eager anticipation for what Judge Judy will say next......which also accounts for Trump's popularity.
Recently J/J tried a case where the defendant was unemployed but admitted he had an infant child.
The irrepressible Judy said: "Clearly, s-o-m-e-thing was working."

Real estate tycoon Donald Trump insisted Tuesday that he was nowhere near ending his 2016 White House bid, despite slipping a bit in some polls.
“Not even a thought, not even 1 percent of the thought,” Trump said during a phone interview broadcast on CNN’s “New Day.”
“Why would I get out?” Trump asked, pointing out that he is still leading polls for the Republican presidential nomination. “I’m not going anywhere.”
Trump has suggested in several interviews that he may end his White House bid if he dropped into the low single digits, like several other candidates in the field.
“The media is so dishonest, it’s so disgusting,” Trump said of how his remarks were interpreted in coverage of his campaign. “I’m not getting out. I’m going to win.”
Immediately following the interview, Trump retweeted two supporters who called CNN’s Chris Cuomo and his questions “pathetic.”

Trump, who has led in the polls for more than two months, saw his lead shrink in the early voting states of Iowa and New Hampshire in polling released Sunday.
The businessman saw his 16-point lead over his nearest rival get cut to 5 points in New Hampshire, according to NBC News/Wall Street Journal/Marist polling.
He is also leading by just 5 points in Iowa, besting neurosurgeon Ben Carson there 24 to 19 percent, compared to a 7-point lead last month.

I wasn't on here hardly at all, some reading, some posting but not like I usually am...
I, like everyone else, sometimes gets ‘overloaded’ with life and have to turn around and go do something else..and that was the reason of yesterday's post, I was upset of the 24-7 hits, because like those of us that want to see America as strong as she once was before Bushes, clintons and obumas, I get desperate in my posts....
