The Left's Most Beloved Boogeyman: The NRA

The NRA is probably the far-left's most beloved boogeyman. Any time there is a tragedy involving a firearm, liberals from the top down are quick to blame the NRA and even insinuate that the organization is gleeful that people have died.

Unsurprisingly, the left seems completely flummoxed as to why the NRA and other Second Amendment supporters oppose some gun laws that have been floated by liberals in the past few years, despite these laws having the support of a majority of Americans.

The number of Federal Agencies that have employees that are authorized to carry weapons would blow your mind. The number that don’t is far exceed by the number that do.

My daughter-in-law worked at a federal minimum security prison here in Illinois. She was a C.P.A. and worked as a bookkeeper in an office, not connected to the prison. She was authorized to carry concealed and that was before Illinois got a concealed carry law.

It’s the Obama ‘organization’ that is ‘gleeful’ when people have died.

but the counter is that govt indeed passed laws restricting gun ownership, type, capacity and so forth so harm has occurred.

Unfortunately, that is a fact.

I realize it would be an uphill battle at best but until we stop playing defense we will only get more grief. Liberals made the progress on all they have because we don’t seriously fight back. We whine, threaten and cave in. It has to stop.

If the NRA is too establishment to grow a pair, perhaps GOA is not.

Just a thought. How did they trace the firearms so quickly after the incident? Is there only one gun shop in the area? Were all of the firearms purchased at the same place? How much manpower was involved in tracing them? Was the batf bimbo that declared a “FLANK’ jacket with steel plates in it, was found/recovered at the scene involved in the tracing? Apparently all 4473 and ubc’s passed the test so............... Obviously more laws would have helped. Oh, and signs at the campus that stated “Law abiding folks on campus are denied their 2nd amendment rights so that no perps will be slowed down in the performance of their evil deeds. Proceed at your leisure.”

IMO polling has been bastardized for purposes other than what it was intended. It is now being used to sway voters minds and manipulate elections at all levels............Yeah I know, Like nobody knew that already.

I watched that presser and thought WTF? Do they have jackets that protect you as you are running away?

Don’t forget their desire to abolish the free exercise of religion. HHS is systematically infringing on freedom of religion, while Obama repeats the phrase “freedom of worship” as if the First Amendment only applied for one hour a week on Sunday morning (one hour on Saturdays for Jews, and all the time for Muslims).
