When I was involved with anti-war protesting (in another life BC ... before Christ) in '69 and '70 ... there was a large representation of VVAW that had no problem with wading into cops or other opposition

NOW ... we have one or two regular guys that get exhalted to hero status for doing nothing more that standing up for what is right and honoring their oath

I find it interesting that they are now trying to make masculinity out to be “unhealthy”. I guess “unbecoming” didn’t work well enough to stamp out real masculinity.
