Russian Air Force Strikes ISIS in Al-Raqqa and East Aleppo: Terrorists Suffer Heavy Casualties

Over the last 48 hours, the Russian Air Force has targeted the Islamic State of Iraq and Al-Sham (ISIS) with relentless airstrikes above the provincial capital of the Al-Raqqa Governorate and the terrorist group’s stronghold inside the Deir Hafer Plains in the Aleppo Governorate’s eastern countryside.

On Sunday morning, the Russian Air Force struck ISIS again with a flurry of airstrikes above the Tabaqa Military Airport and the Tabaqa National Hospital, destroying another weapons depot belonging to the terrorist located inside the storage facility that is situated to the north of the military barracks.

Meanwhile, to the east of the Al-Raqqa Governorate, the Russian Air Force propelled the Syrian Arab Army’s “Cheetah Forces” into the village of ‘Ayn Sabil near the Kuweries Military Airport after repeated airstrikes along the Deir Hafer Highway; specifically, the Thermal Plant that has been turned into an ISIS base.

Fierce firefights are still ongoing between the Syrian Armed Forces and ISIS at the village of ‘Ayn Sabil; this battle has recently intensified with the arrival of the Syrian Arab Army’s Cheetah Forces and the National Defense Forces (NDF) to the Al-Safeera District in east Aleppo.

According to a military source in the Aleppo Governorate, the Russian airstrikes have killed over 75 terrorists in the last 48 hours, as they continue this massive aerial campaign in northern Syria.

The terrorist group has been immobile in northern Syria as of late; this is a direct result of the Russian Air Force’s prevalent airstrikes that are hitting any ISIS convoy making their way across the vast desert highways around the country.

We have become something I am ashamed of. Who can be proud of this country any more? But, God has given us the leaders we deserve I suppose. (Not “us” but the population in general of course.)

The Russians don’t give a good goddamn about women and children or any innocents either.

Raqqua will cease to exist as the ISIS “Capitol”

It will be reduced to rubble.

Apparently, China too has sent military advisers & assistance to help Russia fight ISIS in Syria. —http://www.alaraby.co.uk/english/news/2015/10/2/will-china-join-russias-intervention-in-syria

Just one pass by an A-10 , but Obama couldn’t even muster that.

Why? Because ISIS is a an army funded by the Saudis.

And frankly, Putin could care less.

I have stated on multiple occasions, McCain would go to war with Antarctica and Narnia if possible.

God didn’t do anything. Americans voted for the current loser POTUS and Congress.

The people we elect are our representatives, not our leaders. At least they aren’t mine...

So true.

I have no doubt that the agreement between Assad and Putin includes having the Russians take care of Assad’s “Rebel Problem”. But I really don’t care about them. When you have an organization that’s become as large as ISIS, an organization who thinks that al quaida is too warm and fuzzy, then it’s time to just kill them all and not look back.

Didn’t we hear from some Freepers on a previous (Trump) thread that Putin isn’t interested in hitting ISIS?

Hmmm....

“Obama has complained about Russian action in Syria and McCain wants to provide Stinger missiles to “rebels” so that they may shoot down Russian planes.”.........

I may be wrong but never in my wildest dreams did I ever think I would be cheering on the Russians over our own leadership. The reason I am is that WE HAVE NO LEADERSHIP, we have a coward occupying the space Americans created for a true and real “leader”.

No sarcasm. They are not pleased. Obama has complained about Russian action in Syria and McCain wants to provide Stinger missiles to “rebels” so that they may shoot down Russian planes.

Every day brings a new humiliation for this country, and these two are leading the way.

Given that we just slaughtered a bunch of doctors and their patients, I do not think we have room to complain about any Russian collateral damage.

“Apparently, China too has sent military advisers & assistance to help Russia fight ISIS in Syria.”

So, China and Russia collaborate and develop a footprint in the Middle East, filling the vacuum we created by leaving way before it was time. We essentially handed the keys to ISIS, and in so doing provided a perfect opportunity for Russia and China to practice hegemony in an oil rich region while looking like the ‘good guys’. Our foreign policy has sure been ‘brilliant’.

The Saudis have a close relationship with the Bushes. The Al-Qaeda trading camps should have been taken out days after 9-11. Bush went after mountains in Afghanistan for a short period....then finished his daddy's war and took down Saddam Hussein and destabilized Iraq.

We have JSTARS in theater. We KNOW when convoys move, even down to single vehicles. Kudos to the brilliant Zoomie who figured the tapes could be played backwards to determine the base from whence they came. We must be awash in targeting data. All it takes is for LBJ Øbama in the White Hut to green-light the missions.

Well, the difference between then (LBJ) and now is that there's another force with the will do do something about this barbaric stain upon humanity.

Let the big dog eat.
