“Apparently, China too has sent military advisers & assistance to help Russia fight ISIS in Syria.”
So, China and Russia collaborate and develop a footprint in the Middle East, filling the vacuum we created by leaving way before it was time. We essentially handed the keys to ISIS, and in so doing provided a perfect opportunity for Russia and China to practice hegemony in an oil rich region while looking like the ‘good guys’. Our foreign policy has sure been ‘brilliant’.
Agreed, and this situation is very serious for all those concerned.
