GOP Operative On Donald Trump: “He’s Most Likely Finished.”
DC Whispers ^ | 10-04-2015

Posted on 10/04/2015 10:14:28 PM PDT by Kevin in California

A longtime Republican operative, though not directly involved in what they described as a “significant” operation to dismantle the Donald Trump campaign, has indicated Mr. Trump’s chances of actually winning the GOP nomination have been significantly reduced and will likely lead to the termination of Trump 2016 in the not-too-distant future.

Trump is toughening them up. If a candidate is able to beat him fair and square they may just deserve it. Well except for Jeb, who just appears to be getting worse as time goes on - not ready for prime time...quite a thing to say about such an experience politician from a prominent political family - you’d think he’d at least know how to handle himself in front of the camera.

Hey Ethyl, What’s the weather like?

Weeelll, it’s a beautiful day out. Has been for almost four months, but they keep predicting rain that never materializes.

What’s the forecast for tomorrow? Same as last week and yesterday, more rain...

I’m beginning to wonder if Trump shouldn’t bring Roger Stone back on board to counter these scoundrels. He is known for being as down and dirty as these so-called operatives. None of us really know what happened between Trump and Stone, but Stone said that he is surrounded by “yes” people - those afraid to give him good advice and just nod their heads to everything. SO far, it seems to be working, but Trump needs some opposition research going on and someone who can fight dirty for him. These elitists aren’t going to roll over - they want control of this country and we don’t want them.

I know NBC brought in Schwarzenegger to do “The Apprentice” but is he now in charge of eliminating Trump, too/ sarc.

Yes it does. If Trump goes down, his plans also go down. None of the other candidates are willing to build a wall - they will use the words, “secure the border,” but none of them mean it.

But that does not mean the issues he has raised will be finished too.

And they don't seem to be computing that fact. Or if they do, but aren't showing it, which would mean they have nasty plans lined up to do what they want, get what they want despite our will and protestations.

Trump is perfectly capable of screwing his campaign up all on his own. These GOPe operatives keep up this disinformation sabotage and it’ll be the GOP that’s “finished”.

Rubio’s boy said this? Who cares. If Dry Mouth or the Joyful Turtle are foisted on us, half of America will be waxing their cats all day on election day.
This is win-win for conservatives. The GOP is either going to reform itself in a substantive way, or it goes the way of the Whigs. It can’t go on as it is: Dem-lite.
Consequently, whatever the 50 conservative Congress critters do doesn’t really matter. The GOP decides it’s own fate.

No surprise there. Being a typical Republican insider, he doesn't have the balls to own his quote.

No balls? Doesn't that sound familiar amongst his ilk. [Mommy, make him go away.]

There are trillions at stake...this will get real dirty and yes, it's impossible to think that Trump won't need help. I think they'll trash his wife and kids before they're done..look what the did to Sarah. Although, Trump has a lot more social clout i.e. the talking heads go to Trump and not the other way around. Sundance posted this which I thought was pretty fun: ♦ In museums, he is allowed to touch the art… ♦ The Holy Grail is looking for him… ♦ He never wears a watch because time is always on his side… ♦ He once had an awkward moment, just to see how it feels….

Trump may or may not be finished.

But that does not mean the issues he has raised will be finished too.

Agree. Their first order of business will be to get back to business as usual...the ignoring of their constituents (us!) - and polishing the silver platter for 0bama.

But that does not mean the issues he has raised will be finished too.

And they don’t seem to be computing that fact. Or if they do, but aren’t showing it, which would mean they have nasty plans lined up to do what they want, get what they want despite our will and protestations.

THAT ^^ is the scary thing. I noticed the GOPe began behaving exactly as the Dim/0bola thugs, during the last election. Romney & Co used the same tactics against OUR OWN, more so than he ever did against 0. What does that tell us?

You, sir, are correct.

The GOP is a turd that we are supposed to swallow because “We aren’t Democrats”. The GOP is a lying, self-serving, impotent piece of crap.

I agree. It is not like they are incapable of fighting viciously and ruthlessly. Look at what they did to McDaniel in Mississippi.

Every time I read articles like this I am left amazed at the delusional wishful thinking of the GOPe. Would they rather throw the election than get on board with Trump?
