McCain: Trump Doesn't Understand Syria
CNN ^ | October 04, 2015

Sen. John McCain says that GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump doesn't understand the problems posed by Russia's new role in the Syrian conflict.

"I don't think he understands very well the situation. And he's entitled to his opinion," the Arizona Republican said Sunday in an interview with CNN's Jake Tapper on "State of the Union."

McCain was pushing back against Trump's assertion last week that the United States should let ISIS and Syria's army fight -- and let Russia worry about ISIS there. Trump's comment came as Russia launched air strikes in the region.

"Do we want to keep slaughtering people in Syria that are fighting for freedom?" McCain said.

"In the interview, McCain also prodded Republican presidential candidates to "think about Ronald Reagan and the way he conducted his campaigns."

McCain: Trump doesn't understand Syria

From my perspective, that's a good thing. He's not an actor in the Kabuki.

Do you believe Admiral Stockdale was lying? Why would he have done that?

Stockdale was not McCain’s senior in command. He’s his friend. This has been debated many times over on FR.
Not the purpose of the thread.

I still can’t figure out why McCain, Hillary, Obama, et al, decided it would be wise to topple all the governments in the Middle East and replace them with the Muslim Brotherhood. In Egypt, as soon as their dreamy rebel leaders were installed, they proceeded to torture and murder Christians and burn down their churches which were protected by the previous government. It is rebels committing genocide in Syria and Iraq. There is no such thing as a moderate Muslim rebel. The Muslim Brotherhood is a terrorist organization.

Is there an insane bug infesting DC?

The 0bama/McCain plan has worked out SO WELL, we should not change course.

Folks, who lost their heads to ISIS head choppers, are not available for comment

Our country is run by imbeciles. I’m quite sure there’s one of many village idiots, that thinks they’re the smartest motherfuc*ers in the world, that live in places like Arizona, Ohio, S Dakota, Texas, and every other place that put a bona fide, moronic, corrupt RINO in office. And they’ll tell you, at the dinner table, how fu*king smart they are.

I no longer think that the country is run by imbeciles. I fully believe that those in charge know exactly what they are doing, and what may seem like school-boy errors are actually well thought-out stratagems that have a highly clarified purpose.
