Russian warplanes began bombing American-backed Syrian opposition strongholds on Wednesday, a move that can be viewed as the latest example of American humiliation abroad.
This all comes on the heels of President Barack Obama's drawing of a "red line" regarding the use of chemical weapons, only to back down when the Assad regime – by most accounts – used them. This past week, White House press secretary Josh Earnest strained credulity when he said Mr Obama doesn't regret drawing that red line.

He is cool. But the coolness is a defense mechanism. He is also clueless. Obama is a disaster. Has caused untold misery in Iraq, needlessly.

It’s not cool. It’s detachment and self-absorption. He has only a few topics that interest him, primarily himself. He’s also interested in race (though only when it comes to hectoring whites), anti-Westernism, compiling list after list of America’s ‘sins,’ and comparing what’s right with Islam vs what’s wrong with Christianity. Oh, and he also enjoys the whole post-colonialism hatefest. That’s about it. He finds everything else boring.
