The Moscow-Washington-Tehran Axis of Evil

The conventional wisdom is that Vladimir Putin has blindsided Barack Obama in the Middle East, catching the U.S. off-guard. It’s another Obama “failure,” we’re told. “Obama administration scrambles as Russia attempts to seize initiative in Syria,” is how a Washington Post headline described it. A popular cartoon shows Putin kicking sand in the faces of Obama and Secretary of State John Kerry on a beach. - snip - Here’s how her story began: “Moscow’s rapid military buildup in Syria is a result of the ‘reset’ in relations forged with the Russian and Iranian governments by the Barack Obama administration. The deal—reshaping alliances and conditions from Syria, Iran and the rest of the Middle East to Ukraine and surrounding region—is the cornerstone of U.S. imperialism’s efforts to establish a new order in the Mideast, but from a much weaker position than when the now-disintegrating order was imposed after World Wars I and II.”

Just a different take to think about.

The middle east is very confusing to me, and I pay attention. I really dont know what to make of it. I thought we were right to intervene in Iraq. Seems like our presence there was a stabilizing influence. I fully support Israel. I think we should have continued to support Iran sanctions and isolate them. But beyond that, and with current chaos brought about by Obama, I dont know who to support, nor do I feel confident about any particular outcome.

After studying history for lo these many decades I have come to believe that you never know the ‘Rest of the Story” until long after the events happen. Secret protocols and under the table deals are the mothers milk of international politics. Believe little of what you see and none of what is said.

Israel will wait, hoping for a conservative, constitutional presidency in the US, before bombing Iran back to the stone age.
Meanwhile Putin exposes Obama’s policy of leading from behind by destroying ISIS’ ability to control any territory in a mere few weeks.

The article conclusively demonstrates Obama’s Marxist world view. He has been a nieve Trotskyite since his college days. That we have been so thoroughly invaded by communism is a testimony to the weakening of intellectual rigor in our universities and a substitution of the search for the truth with PC attitudes in the press. It will require a monumental groundswell of opposition to these nefarious influences to overcome them.

...it appears that Obama is working hand-in-glove with Putin to isolate Israel and that Obama is perfectly content to let the former KGB colonel take the lead. Israel has always been seen by most U.N. members as the real problem in the region.

The two pump handshake between Obama and Putin - with Putin checking with some cameraman in the audience to make sure the cameras were rolling was old school KGB ... One pump - stand down ... two pumps - start your engines... and off they flew to Syria... (of course with so much borderline weird stuff happening it could all be tin foil... )

Last Sunday, .....’Iraq announced’ the establishment of a joint intelligence-gathering center with Iran, Syria and Russia, which certainly looks like the new “Shiite-crescent alliance” stretching from Iran across the northern Middle East to the Mediterranean, under the umbrella of Russia.

This event was no small peanuts..... especially since Putin made a point to “invite” the US to share this intelligence.

Obama.does.not.want.to.destroy.ISIS.

Hope that Russia does. However, it will be the end of US influence in the Middle East.
