SNL wasted no time in its season premiere tonight getting to the comedic goldmine that is Donald Trump‘s candidacy for the presidency.
“Trump” and his wife spent the entire cold open bragging about how well-off they are but also assuring the American people they’re just average Joes “but better.”

SNL wasted no time in its season premiere tonight getting to the comedic goldmine that is Donald Trump‘s candidacy for the presidency.
“Trump” and his wife spent the entire cold open bragging about how well-off they are but also assuring the American people they’re just average Joes “but better.”
They even got in a reference to Trump’s Megyn Kelly feud, in which The Donald said that he loves Kelly and thinks she’s great, but “she’s a heifer who’s always on her period and I hope she dies.”

I am sorry, I wasn't clear. My comment was meant to be about Chase being full=time on SNL for only one year.
I know that SNL is rabidly left and has been from the beginning.
Chase is especially a vile person with some of the disgusting comments he made.
I make it a point to never watch SNL. I sometime catch highlights on youtube.
That's the big difference. SNL doesn't have anywhere near the effect it used to. The rare funny skit or good musical guest do reach the "younger" audience but it's through social media or youtube, and that's where Trump can play with the best of them.
