Russia said on Saturday it will step up air strikes in Syria, escalating a military intervention which Moscow says is weakening Islamic State militants but which Western powers say aims to support President Bashar al-Assad.

A senior Russian military officer said Russian jets based in western Syria had carried out more than 60 sorties in 72 hours across Syria. "We will not only continue strikes... We will also increase their intensity," said Andrei Kartapolov from the Russian army General Staff.

We are certainly seeing geopolitical events unfolding in a way consistent with Ezekiel 38-39....that's not to say this is it..but it is how it would look....

Russia aligning with Iran and other ME nations could not be supported, as we see happening among the people, IF the US wasn't weakened.....Sometimes God lets nations be run in tyranny, or something similar to that...in order to bring about his plans.

THE US had to be weakened in order for things to line up in the East and Europe as we see them doing now.

If the US thought they were blind sighted by Russia's moves into Syria...(Which they weren't at all)...imagine what the terrorists are thinking since Putin had obvious intelligence from Assad's army and being on the ground with his spy's...as to where these terrorists were located and their arsenals......
