If nothing else, our CIC does have credibility with this as he is an accomplished expert on all things “dumb”.
I like dumb bombs....lots of them.....incendiary too .....saturation bombing. I subscribe to the ‘Bomber’ Harris, Curtis LeMay, Paul Tibbets, Winston Churchill theory of warfare. Make them plead for peace....on their knees.
If they were, they’d be saving them for higher value targets.
Meanwhile, with the few planes that the Russkies are using in this operation, they are definitely delivering “shock & awe” - which helps boost their credibility. Once again, and for the first time in about 30 years, the world is taking the Russkies seriously. Putin already scored that, and he is also further burying our credibility every time some dumbass on our side opens his mouth (starting with the Dumbass-in-Chief and his talking, horse-faced sock-puppet).
That’s what happens when experienced chess players are pitted against those that never advanced much beyond Tiddlywinks.
I would be cautious about posting from Sputnik. It’s a propaganda arm of the Russian government. Same can be said for RT. Its easy to get caught up in the propaganda war. Especially when we disbelieve what is coming out of the mouths of our own government officials.
Understandably, Russia is responding to the all-of-a-sudden concern trolling from the MSM about non-precision guided munitions and “civilian” casualties. Heck, you go on twitter and every third post is somebody holding the body of a bloodied child. The only time one sees images of dead military aged males is when those are posted from Russian sources.
Having said that even if they are using “dumb” bombs then so be it. As long as it goes boom then I’m cool with it.

Using “dumb” bombs on muslims doesn’t seem too dumb at all if you are fighting to win.
Why would Russia (or anyone at all) take advice from the politicians in this American administration on how to fight muslims?
How many conflicts with muslims has the Obama administration won in the last 7 years?
As far as I can recall the answer is ZERO.
The mistake is believing that Obama and Putin are on opposite sides.
I hope that when Trump or Cruz win, their second order of business is sacking all of the instructors at war colleges and anyone remotely training people for the last 15 years. We need to get back to the Patton approach and away from the Winfrey approach.
