The man poised to be the next House speaker said Monday that the U.S. needs to assume a more aggressive posture around the world, saying the key to foreign policy is making it “painful” for countries to misbehave.
Rep. Kevin McCarthy backed calls for a U.S.-enforced no-fly zone over Syria, saying it would boost the fight against the Islamic State rebels and also curtail the Syrian regime’s ability to strike its own citizens.

Don’t care what he thinks about foreign policy. McCarthy should be escorted out of the republican party immediately for what he did to Gowdy, the damage he did to the Benghazi case, and the lifeline he threw to shillary.

This is insanity. I’d bet 99% of Americans don’t give a flip which group of murderous thugs prevails in Syria, yet these people want to start WWIII over it?
Hillary also called for a No Fly Zone over Syria. So who is going to enforce the No Fly Zone with the Russians?

They are treating this like a game of gotcha checkers...this is chess and we are at the end game, we declare a no fly zone, they ignore it, we shoot something down and now we are facing a slightly wounded and highly angered Russian Bear ...who is trying to save the Middle East. Obama walked right into this...what a failure as a “president.”

Yep...they ordered us out and obama complied. No Russian or Soviet leader would ever have made such a demand to Truman, Eisnhower, Kennedy, Johnson, Nixon, Ford, Reagan, Bush Sr, or W. They may have tried it with Carter or Clinton and gotten away with it. Remember Carter's tough response to the USSR's invasion of Afghanistan? He asked us all to light a candle. We survived Carter but I don't know if we can survive obama.

But then again, we shouldn’t be surprised after he made the statement...”Unfortunately, we have have three branches of government”, when it comes to getting things done.
They only way to stabilize Syria is to keep Assad there or have Russia or the United States install a puppet. The US isn’t going to do it, so the only way to stabilize the region and to stop the bloodbath against Christians and Jews is to let Russia do it’s thing.
Obama caused this by having a weak foreign policy and tying the hands of our soldiers. Now we have to live with the consequences. Russia has filled the vacuum left by Obama.
Calling for a no fly zone against the Russians is a joke. We are not prepared to shoot down Russian Jets. Putin knows it and so should all these idiots that are trying to threaten Russia.
Right now we should be rooting for Russia and trying to strengthen our alliances with Jordan, Egypt and Israel.
Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan are lost causes. Syria is a lost cause too, since the only alternative to Assad right now is a Muslim Caliphate.
And we should immediately stop all immigration of any Syrian or anyone who says they are Syrian unless they are Christian women and children. Any man of military age should be sent back. Military age in the Middle East is age 10 to 80.
Ok now we have a ‘boehner’ clone....all that work we did didn’t do what we wanted, what now?
McCarthy didn’t undermine the Benghazi committee by accident, it was intentional.
