Just thought it interesting, and potentially very important for those living on the east coast, to point out how different the predicted path for this major hurricane is between these two major weather sources (Weather Channel and AccuWeather), at least as of the moment: Fri, Oct 02, 2015 @ 5:30AM EDT. AccuWeather appears to have it *several hundred miles* more west than does The Weather Channel. Perhaps the predictions are based on different computer models.
The first map below is from AccuWeather. The second, The Weather Channel.
Thanks tons for the excellent weather links!
All true, but if you listened to his update yesterday, you would hear his reasons for the call he made. I'm no weather guy, but it made sense to me.
Also, what weatherman out there is a prophet?
None that I know of...Bastardi was the one who used the term a couple of years ago. He was explaining why he was wrong about a long range forecast.
I know his reasoning for this forecast for Joaquin and I can buy that...but I've lived in the SE long enough to know that no forecast is ironclad until the damned thing has fizzled out.
This can't be any more off topic. I used to be overrun with pigeons, starlings, sparrows etc. Then a family of Peregrine falcons moved in about a block away and a 100 feet up in a church steeple. There are days I don't see a single bird. These guys can do 200 in a dive. Eat up boys and girls.
He (communist-revolutionary/domestic terrorist/Obama pal, Bill Ayers),
predicted decades ago that the US would one-day have a president that
would lead us down the path to Marxism.
Doesn’t matter either way. If there is breeze enough to blow paper down 5th Ave and enough rain to make a puddle it will be a ‘cataclysmic disaster’ for the crybabies in the N.E. Nothing like victims waiting for a disaster that doesn’t happen.
I am GW Skeptic too, but this reasoning really makes no sense, its kind of embarassing when I see it thrown out there.
So to net this out, is this now looking like a “fish storm” with some rain possible along the east coast?
12-19” in some areas of Holder’s people all the way up the coast. Wouldn’t want to announce wide-spread power outages before they happen.. although NJ, VA and NC have issued states of emergencies.
All of this rain you see is moving north.
I have 2 weather apps on my phone and they never have the same temperature or for that matter if there will be sunny skies or rain. Yet we are to believe that the weather people can predict climate change down to a degree.
Gaia flipped the cold switch on September 21. Don't ever recall her taking the calendar that serious before.
