group of predominantly African American women kicked off the Napa Wine Train in late August -- allegedly for being too loud -- filed an $11-million racial discrimination lawsuit Thursday.
They said their reputations were tarnished and that some of them even lost their jobs after the incident.

I remember hearing about this. I think the fact that they’re black had nothing to do with it. I think the fact that they were being loud and uncivilised and displaying zero manners had everything to do with it.
Of course, because they’re black, the whole thing is just because those terrible people are racist.
Their screaming racism at the drop of a hat is getting really boring.
These women add so much richness and vitality to the fabric of American life. They are such a pleasure to be around and their antics make the folks around them fulfilled as they would never be absent these wonderful women. /sarc

They were not responding to requests to quiet down. OK maybe that was an overreaction. But it does not prove racism and it certainly does not deserve millions in so-called damages. What damage? You missed a vacation event?
Ok, help me out here. They are black, but they got ON the train. If this were a racial issue, they would NOT have been allowed on the train. During the time they were on the train, they became loud and this irritated the other passengers. What race is “loud?” How does one discriminate against the “loud” race? What pigment is “loud?”
Wow. Even if this WAS about racism (it’s not, obviously), $11 million is just....wow.
Whatever moron lawyer agreed to take this case and sue for $11 million should be sanctioned for frivolous conduct.
I would award each of them a coupon for a bottle of Ripple or a suitable substitute thereof, a can of cheese spread and some Ritz crackers. Bon appétit.
