On CNN right now, one person is reporting that a number of military veterans were present at the community college at the time of the shooting earlier today. They report that the veterans wanted to leave the classroom to try and stop the shooter, but the staff at the college stopped them from leaving the classroom. An audio recording of the incident indicates that it took five minutes from the initial radio call for the police to engage the shooter.
Obama would go crazy if this shooter was a gay Muslim.

They could not stop them. They chose to stay for whatever reason. I was once a veteran in college. I don’t recall any official or Professor there who could have restrained me from acting as I saw fit. They may have had good reason to stay put.

This is the first mass shooting here where the victims were asked their religion I believe.

I’m sorry but if true, this is stupid. If I think I’m under attack I’m going towards the gun fire. Hiding in place, or whatever other BS they call it, is not an option. Stay and die. Maneuver towards the shooter and have a chance at life.
I just read that this was the college that the man on Dancing with the Stars, who stopped the terrorist shooting on the train in France, attended. Perhaps this is retaliation?
