Funds the government through December 11; this bill does fund Planned Parenthood.
It needs a simple majority, and is expected to pass, and then will be voted on in the House this afternoon.

The big problem still remains....abortion itself. Have to get Roe vs Wade reversed. That's what Cruz has to work on.
I really am sick of CRs. A REAL BUDGET would be nice.
And “clean” of course. No compromise.
We all know what is coming. Sequestration will be killed and the Dems and Reps will strike a bargain, i.e., increased funding for defense in return for more spending on the welfare state. The result will be greater budget deficits.
It’s ALL just a game.
Pick a date just before Christmas, to force everyone to pass the damn thing before they can go home.
As is recall, this is exactly how CommieCare was passed.
I am so disgusted with the theatrics. I hold Wisconsin’s Ron Johnson responsible for his votes for GOPe. He was our Tea Party candidate and has voted with McConnell on everything.
CR Passed at 10:00 and 20 seconds.
And McConnell votes with Obama on everything.
More surrender, coming up.
Spending increases and the deficit continue to explode through the roof.
GOP capitulates to Obama once again.
Meanwhile Putin makes Obama wait 20 minutes for a meeting at the UN and then tells him to get US jets out of Syria today.
Interesting the opposition party in the US is scared to death of Obama while the leader of a second tier military power shows him nothing but contempt.
Clean is a misnomer, as the dirty, bloody hands of PP are all over it(as well as Iran sanctions, payment to illegals, czars, etc.
It would be difficult to advance Obama’s agenda with an actual budget. the sheep would get restless. Both the Republican and Democrat Parties are fully aware of this. This is why both Parties favor CRs. Also it gives the Democrat’s Allies a ready made campaign platform to campaign on such as, “Elect me and I will defund _____”
Addendum to post 13: I omitted that the Obama agenda is also the Republican Party’s hidden agenda. They approve in totality what Obama is doing.
Passes easily 78-20. These were the “no” votes:
GOP noes: Boozman
Cotton
Crapo
Coats
Paul
Vitter
Burr
Sasse
Inhofe
Toomey
Lee
Lankford
Blunt
Heller
Risch
Shelby
Cruz
Moran
Scott
Sessions
Graham and Rubio (of course) did not vote.
Should they have voted, they would have voted Aye.
I guess it is about all over except the waiting for God’s Hammer of Judgment to fall...
