Please share your list of actual things Assad has done to the United States of America. You can go in numerical or alphabetical order. OPPS, can't think of a thing can you. Did you know that ISIS gassed Alleppo with Chlorine gas— not Assad. Assad never gassed his own people in Syria— Isis DID!! Isis used Chlorine gas several times later in the war also.
I think what drives the RINO hawks on Syria is MONEY. They have businesses they want to run if they can just get Assad out of there.
Anyway, Assad ain't going anywhere and ISIS guys are now going to die real bad. I'm very pleased.

The Soviets have had footprint in Syria since 1946, and if I recall correctly, the USSR and Syria were the equivalent of a-hole buddies from about 1970 until the fall of the USSR. Although the relationship between the Russians and Syria has not been as overt over the last 25 years as it was during the height of the Cold War, the Russian foot-print is nothing new. Indeed, if you look at this objectively, Russia has a much greater interest in Syrian than the United States should have give the fact that Syria is located about a "nine iron" from Russia's southern border.
