I've thought this as well. In a "normal" primary the instant the Republicans have a front runner/nominee they become the dumbest person in the world according to the media.

And I think you are right about Senator Cruz getting the message out, improving as candidate without the intense scrutiny a conservative such as Cruz would get. He does need to speed up his delivery and work on his stage presence.

As it is now the media does their best to ignore him; however, his courage makes that extremely difficult

Cruz makes it easy to ignore him though. He’s very soft spoken and enjoys lecturing on the Constitution. He just doesn’t have it in him to appeal to a broad audience.
