I’d like to know how they got Benedict to resign. Popes don’t resign.
That was definitely odd. Wonder what would happen if he reclaimed his position? He’s 88 isn’t he?
Yes, I want to know how they got him to resign too. At the time I figured Benedict must have been very frail or very sick, so as to find it difficult to function in office. I figured he must not be long for this world. How long has it been now? Two-and-a-half years?
Very rarely.
My first impression was -perhaps his health may be failing and he didn’t want to lose the capacity to function as he witnessed with JPII.
But the longer he lives on, seemingly in good health does make me wonder what’s going on.
