Uh... hey obungles... show us where exactly homosexuals have special rights. Show us where in the Constitution it says gays have the right to use their union, which almost no one has an issue with, to call it ‘marriage’.

This is what the libs don’t get. There is almost no one saying they can’t legally be in a union. The problem is only when they want to call it ‘marriage’.

Sorry gays. That word is already taken for use between a man and a woman. You need to find a different word. Maybe hijack another word like you did with ‘gay’.

His statement doesn’t make sense. In fact, seemingly with the confidence of childlike self-deception he’s essentially arguing that PC rights which the states have never amended the Constitution to expressly protect, so-called rights that activist justices have wrongly legislated from the bench, trump constitutionally enumerated rights.

The interesting point of the philosophy of legal positivism is that moral absolutes have no bearing on the law, rather the law is the law because society (government, the courts) say it is the law.

Neither William Blackstone, Aristotle, nor Cicero would approve.
